Arcfox T1 EV: Features and Specs

The Arcfox T1’s global positioning is clear: it is meant to be an accessible urban EV with a crossover body style, modern cabin layout and practical space.

In New Zealand, the official T1 launch offer is NZD 34,990 + ORC. The local-market T1 is quoted with 70 kW, 176 Nm, a 42.3 kWh LFP battery, 310 km WLTP range, and 25-minute DC fast charging from 30% to 80%. Arcfox New Zealand also quotes a 6-year / 200,000 km vehicle warranty and an 8-year / 200,000 km battery warranty.

In China, the T1 range is broader. Arcfox’s official configurator shows multiple versions, with published range steps of 350 km, 450 km and 550 km, 95 kW output, and a practical packaging layout including up to 459–1,352 litres of cargo space depending on seat configuration.

That difference between markets is important. It tells Pakistani buyers not to assume that one foreign-market T1 spec automatically equals the Pakistan version. Sazgar could choose a lower-price urban variant, a better-equipped higher-range version, or something in between.

Why the T1 could matter in Pakistan

If priced sharply, the T1 could attract:

urban commuters
second-car households
buyers considering smaller EVs
customers wanting an EV with crossover looks rather than a basic city hatchback

Its success in Pakistan would depend on final price, battery/range selection, and whether aftersales support feels credible from day one.

CarAdvisers Insight:
The T1 looks strongest as a value EV play, not as a premium EV. If Sazgar keeps the price close enough to locally relevant entry EVs while offering a decent warranty and clear parts support, the T1 could become a serious urban-use option. If it arrives too expensive, it risks being squeezed between cheaper small EVs and better-known electrified crossovers.

Arcfox T5 REEV: Features and Specs

The T5 is the more strategically interesting product for Pakistan because it tackles the biggest local EV objection directly: range anxiety outside dense urban use.

Reporting on the T5 shows that the range-extender version pairs a 1.5-litre generator with a 27.4 kWh battery, delivering 215 km electric-only range and 1,215 km combined range on the quoted test cycle. Output is reported at 200 kW and 360–365 Nm, with 0–100 km/h in around 6.5 seconds. The vehicle sits on an 800V platform and supports fast charging.

Chinese launch coverage also describes the T5 as a mid-size SUV with a 2,845 mm wheelbase, while BEV versions are available with larger battery options and longer quoted ranges.

Why the T5 REEV could fit Pakistan better than a pure EV SUV

For Pakistan, the T5 REEV may actually be the more natural product-market fit because it offers:

electric driving feel in daily use
lower dependence on public charging
easier intercity usability
less psychological risk for first-time electrified buyers

That matters in a market where many consumers still want one vehicle to do city duty, family duty and highway duty.

CarAdvisers Insight:
If the T5 REEV is priced smartly, it could be one of the more relevant new-energy SUVs for Pakistan, especially for buyers who want electric-style driving but are not ready to commit to a pure EV lifestyle. In practical terms, it may suit local conditions better than a similarly priced full EV SUV.

Arcfox Brand Growth and Global Market Presence

Arcfox is still a relatively unfamiliar name for most Pakistani buyers, but the brand is gradually moving beyond its domestic Chinese market.

The New Zealand launch of the T1 is particularly relevant because New Zealand is a right-hand-drive market. That gives Pakistan a useful reference point for how Arcfox may configure, certify and support the vehicle outside China.

It also shows why direct China-price comparisons have limits. The same vehicle can look dramatically more expensive once it enters an export market with different equipment, safety requirements, warranty coverage, logistics and retail support.

For Pakistan, the important question is therefore not simply:

“How much does the Arcfox T1 cost in China?”

It is:

“Which T1 specification will Pakistan receive, and what will Sazgar charge for that complete package?”

The same applies even more strongly to the T5 REEV.

Arcfox Pakistan Launch Status: What Is Confirmed?

As of the morning of 3 October 2026, the Pakistan story is moving quickly but several important details remain outstanding.

The Arcfox T1 EV and T5 REEV are expected to appear at the PakWheels New Wheels Expo in Karachi on 3–4 October 2026.

PakWheels has also reported that Sazgar intends to reveal the price of one Arcfox model at the event.

What has not yet been fully confirmed includes:

complete Pakistan price list
which variants will be offered
booking amount
Pakistan-specific battery specification
officially quoted Pakistan driving range
warranty terms
delivery timeline
aftersales package
parts availability
whether the initial vehicles will be CBU imports
whether local assembly is planned and, if so, when

This distinction is important.

A vehicle being displayed in Pakistan is not automatically the same thing as a complete commercial launch with bookings, deliveries and final retail specifications.

What CarAdvisers will watch at the Karachi reveal

The most important information will be:

1. Which model gets a price?
T1 EV or T5 REEV.

2. Which exact variant is coming?
This matters because overseas T1 and T5 specifications vary considerably.

3. What battery and range figures will Pakistan receive?
CLTC figures from China should not automatically be presented as Pakistan-market real-world range.

4. What warranty will Sazgar provide?
Battery and high-voltage-system coverage will be particularly important.

5. When will bookings and deliveries begin?

6. What is the CBU/CKD plan?

7. What aftersales and parts support will be available?

Until those details are announced, overseas specifications should remain clearly labelled as global reference specifications.

Which Arcfox Makes More Sense for Pakistan?

The two vehicles target very different users.

Arcfox T1 EV

The T1 makes the strongest case for buyers who:

mainly drive inside a city
can charge at home
want relatively low daily running costs
already have another vehicle for long-distance travel
are looking for an affordable crossover-style EV

Its biggest question is price.

Pakistan now has a growing selection of Chinese EVs, so being electric alone will not be enough. The T1 will need the right combination of price, usable battery capacity, warranty and equipment.

Arcfox T5 REEV

The T5 REEV is more relevant to buyers who:

want one vehicle for both city and highway use
like electric driving but worry about charging availability
regularly travel between cities
need more cabin and luggage space
want an SUV rather than a small urban crossover

The range extender could make the T5 easier to use in Pakistan than a comparable pure-electric SUV, especially for households where the new vehicle will be the primary family car.

T1 EV vs T5 REEV: Different solutions

Buyer requirement	Better fit
Mainly urban commuting	T1 EV
Lower-cost entry into EV ownership	T1 EV
Home charging available	T1 EV
One-car household	T5 REEV
Frequent intercity travel	T5 REEV
Concern about public charging	T5 REEV
Larger family-SUV requirement	T5 REEV

This is not really a direct T1-versus-T5 buying decision. They solve different problems and are likely to sit at very different price points.

The Biggest Unknown: Pakistan Pricing

Pricing will ultimately determine whether either vehicle becomes genuinely competitive.

China pricing makes both Arcfox models look inexpensive when converted directly into rupees, but buyers should not use converted Chinese prices to predict Pakistan retail prices.

A Pakistan price must account for several additional factors, including:

import and logistics costs

The New Zealand T1 price of NZD 34,990 + ORC illustrates how dramatically the retail price can change once a Chinese EV enters another market with local certification and support.

That makes the upcoming Pakistan price announcement far more useful than any simple yuan-to-rupee conversion.

CarAdvisers View: What Would Make the T1 Competitive?

For the T1, Sazgar needs to avoid positioning it too close to larger or better-established EV alternatives.

The strongest proposition would be:

compact dimensions + useful real-world range + strong warranty + aggressive pricing.

If Pakistan receives a higher-range, better-equipped version at a reasonable price, the T1 could appeal to buyers who want something more substantial than a basic urban EV without moving into a much more expensive electric SUV.

But if pricing rises too far, buyers will naturally begin comparing it with larger EVs, hybrids and even conventional crossovers.

That is why the final Pakistan variant specification matters almost as much as the price itself.

CarAdvisers View: Why the T5 REEV May Be the Bigger Story

The T5 REEV could ultimately be the more important Arcfox product for Pakistan.

Pakistan's EV infrastructure continues to improve, but long-distance charging remains a concern for many buyers. A range extender provides a practical bridge between a pure EV and a conventional petrol SUV.

A buyer could potentially use electricity for most short daily journeys while retaining petrol-backed range for motorway and intercity travel.

That does not automatically make the T5 inexpensive to operate. Real running costs will depend heavily on:

how frequently the vehicle is charged
actual Pakistan electric range
electricity tariff
petrol consumption once the battery is depleted
vehicle weight
highway usage
driving style

A claimed 1,215 km combined range should therefore not be confused with a promise that the vehicle will routinely travel that distance cheaply under Pakistani driving conditions.

The more useful figures will be its real electric range, depleted-battery fuel consumption and charging performance.

Final Thoughts

The arrival of Arcfox is interesting because Sazgar is not bringing two versions of the same idea.

The Arcfox T1 EV represents the simpler pure-electric approach: a compact crossover designed primarily around battery-powered urban mobility.

The Arcfox T5 REEV takes a different route, combining electric propulsion with a petrol range extender to reduce dependence on charging infrastructure during longer journeys.

For Pakistan, both concepts have potential.

The T1 could work if Sazgar can turn its aggressive international positioning into a genuinely competitive entry-level EV package.

The T5 REEV could be even more relevant for buyers who want the advantages of electric driving without making public charging availability a deciding factor on every long journey.

But the most important information is still missing.

Pakistan price, exact variant, battery specification, warranty, booking terms, delivery schedule and aftersales support will decide whether either Arcfox becomes a serious buyer option.

Until those details are officially announced, global prices and specifications should be treated as useful benchmarks — not as confirmed Pakistan-market figures.

CarAdvisers will update this article as official Pakistan specifications, prices and booking details become available.

FAQs

Is Arcfox coming to Pakistan?

Yes. Sazgar is preparing to introduce Arcfox in Pakistan, with the T1 EV and T5 REEV expected to be displayed at the PakWheels New Wheels Expo Karachi on 3–4 October 2026. Full commercial launch details were still awaited at the time of writing.

What is the Arcfox T1 price in Pakistan?

The official Pakistan price had not yet been confirmed as of the morning of 3 October 2026. In China, the T1 starts from CNY 62,800, while the New Zealand launch offer is NZD 34,990 + ORC. These overseas prices should not be treated as Pakistan retail prices.

What is the Arcfox T5 REEV price in Pakistan?

Pakistan pricing had not yet been officially announced. China launch pricing for the T5 REEV ranges from approximately CNY 109,800 to CNY 127,800, depending on variant.

Which Arcfox model will get a Pakistan price first?

PakWheels has said one Arcfox model's price will be revealed at the Karachi event, but the report did not confirm whether that will be the T1 EV or T5 REEV.

Is the Arcfox T5 REEV a hybrid?

The T5 REEV is a range-extended electric vehicle rather than a conventional hybrid. Its electric motor provides propulsion, while the petrol engine works as a range extender to help generate electricity when required.

What is the Arcfox T1 driving range?

It depends on the market and variant. China-market T1 versions quote ranges of approximately 350 km, 450 km and up to 550 km on the relevant Chinese test cycle. The New Zealand T1 is officially rated at 310 km WLTP. Pakistan's final specification has not yet been confirmed.

What is the Arcfox T5 REEV electric range?

The China-market T5 REEV is reported with approximately 215 km of electric-only CLTC range and up to 1,215 km combined range. These are Chinese test-cycle figures and should not be presented as confirmed Pakistan real-world range.

Should I buy the T1 EV or T5 REEV?

They target different buyers. The T1 EV is better suited to primarily urban driving with dependable charging, while the T5 REEV is designed to offer greater long-distance flexibility with less dependence on public chargers. Final Pakistan pricing and specifications will be critical before making a meaningful buying comparison.
