CSM’s Big Bet on Pakistan’s EV Market

CSM’s move signals a strong belief in Pakistan’s readiness for next-generation mobility. By introducing Zeekr, JMEV, and Forthing models alongside Riddara’s electric pickup, the company has positioned itself as the largest multi-brand EV distributor in the country.

While high prices limit accessibility for now, these models demonstrate the pace at which Pakistan’s EV ecosystem is evolving — from affordable city EVs to ultra-luxury electrics rivaling global imports.

FAQs

Q1: When will CSM start deliveries of Zeekr and JMEV models in Pakistan?
Deliveries are expected to begin in early 2026, depending on variant demand and import schedules.

Q2: Will these EVs qualify for government incentives or duty relaxations?
Currently, CBU imports face duties; however, CSM has hinted at local assembly (CKD) within two years to reduce prices.

Q3: Are charging solutions included for buyers?
Yes. Each CSM EV comes with home charging support, and public charging station partnerships are under development in Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi.

Final Thoughts

From Zeekr’s luxurious 009 to Pakistan’s first electric pickup, the CSM lineup sets a new benchmark for EV diversity and ambition. Whether these models redefine Pakistan’s EV landscape or remain niche imports will depend on infrastructure, affordability, and consumer confidence.
But one thing is clear — the electric era in Pakistan has truly arrived.
