Chery QQ3 Specs

The new QQ3 is considerably larger and more sophisticated than the small Chery QQ that was previously known in international markets.

The car measures 4,195 mm in length, 1,811 mm in width, and up to 1,573 mm in height. It has a 2,700 mm wheelbase, giving it a surprisingly substantial footprint for an affordable electric hatchback.

The higher range version uses a 41.28 kWh LFP battery and produces 90 kW, equivalent to roughly 121 hp, with 115 Nm of torque. The entry version uses a 29.48 kWh battery and a 58 kW electric motor producing 90 Nm.

Specification	QQ3 310	QQ3 420

The official Chinese specifications confirm that the QQ3 uses a rear-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor and LFP battery technology.

Chery QQ3 Range and Charging

Range is likely to be one of the QQ3’s biggest selling points in Pakistan.

The entry versions offer a claimed 310 km CLTC range, while the larger battery versions are rated at up to 420 km CLTC. The 420 km version uses a 41.28 kWh battery.

However, Pakistani buyers should remember that CLTC figures are generated under Chinese test conditions. Real-world range can be lower depending on speed, traffic, temperature, air conditioning, driving style, and road conditions.

The QQ3 also supports DC fast charging. International specifications indicate that the battery can charge from 30 percent to 80 percent in roughly 17 minutes under the appropriate charging conditions.

That could make the QQ3 particularly appealing for urban users who do not want long charging stops.

Chery QQ3 Design

The new Chery QQ3 has little in common with the small petrol-powered QQ that older Pakistani motorists may remember.

The exterior follows a rounded design theme with Q-shaped LED headlights, a closed front grille and rounded lighting elements at the rear. The body also gets semi-hidden door handles and black wheel arch treatment.

The overall design gives the QQ3 a youthful appearance without making it look like an extremely small city car.

Its 4.2 metre length is also important. Despite being marketed as a compact EV, the QQ3 is significantly larger than many traditional entry-level hatchbacks.

The 2,700 mm wheelbase should also help provide reasonable cabin space for its segment.

Chery QQ3 Interior and Features

The interior is where the QQ3 becomes particularly interesting.

Higher versions feature a large 15.6-inch 2.5K central touchscreen powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8155 platform. The cabin also features a digital instrument display and Chery’s AI-based cockpit technology.

Depending on the variant, available equipment includes heated and ventilated front seats, wireless phone charging, Bluetooth key functionality, ambient lighting and smartphone connectivity.

The car also offers a 70-litre front storage compartment, while the rear luggage area provides 375 litres of capacity and can expand to as much as 1,450 litres with the seats folded.

Chery QQ3 Safety and ADAS

Technology is another area where the QQ3 moves beyond the traditional budget hatchback formula.

Selected international versions are equipped with Chery’s Falcon 500 intelligent driving assistance system. The system is designed to provide advanced driver assistance functions, including automated parking capabilities and assistance in different road environments.

However, buyers should not assume that every QQ3 variant will receive the same ADAS equipment.

If Chery brings the model to Pakistan, the exact safety package will depend on the local specification. This is an important point because the equipment offered in China can differ considerably from export market versions.

Could the Chery QQ3 Replace the Suzuki Alto?

This is probably the question many Pakistani buyers will ask.

The QQ3 is not a direct mechanical equivalent of the Suzuki Alto. It is larger, more powerful, and fully electric.

However, the comparison makes sense from a buyer's perspective because both vehicles target consumers looking for an affordable and practical city car.

An electric QQ3 could offer lower routine energy costs, instant electric torque, quieter operation, and considerably more technology.

The challenge will be price.

If the Chery QQ3 arrives around the PKR 30 lakh to PKR 40 lakh range, it could attract buyers who currently consider entry-level petrol hatchbacks. If its Pakistani price moves significantly higher, the comparison becomes less straightforward.

Charging infrastructure and resale value will also play an important role.

Why the QQ3 Could Make Sense in Pakistan

Pakistan’s electric vehicle market is becoming more competitive, but affordability remains a major challenge.

The QQ3 could occupy an interesting position because it combines an affordable international price with a relatively large body, useful driving range, and modern cabin technology.

For a person driving mainly in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi or Rawalpindi, the 310 km version could potentially cover several days of normal urban commuting before needing a recharge.

The 420 km version would offer even more flexibility.

Its Rear Wheel Drive layout is also unusual in this price category and could make the QQ3 more interesting from a driving perspective.

What Could Hold the QQ3 Back?

The biggest uncertainty is not the car itself. It is the Pakistani market.

A competitive price is essential.

The availability of charging stations, after-sales support, spare parts, battery warranty, software support, and resale value will determine whether the QQ3 becomes a serious mainstream option.

Chery would also need to ensure that the local specification offers the safety and technology expected by Pakistani buyers.

For an EV at this price point, buyers will want clear answers about battery warranty, charging compatibility, and replacement costs before making a purchase.

Is Chery QQ3 Coming to Pakistan?

The sighting of a QQ3 at a Pakistani port is an encouraging development, but it should not be treated as confirmation of a commercial launch.

At present, the model has not received an officially announced Pakistani price or confirmed local launch specifications.

Pakistani automotive listings currently indicate the QQ3 as an upcoming model, with September 2026 mentioned as a possible launch period.

If Chery confirms the model for Pakistan, the QQ3 could become one of the most interesting affordable EV launches to watch this year.

FAQs

What is the expected Chery QQ3 price in Pakistan?

The expected Chery QQ3 price could be around PKR 30 lakh to PKR 40 lakh, depending on the variant and local taxes. This is an estimate and not an official price.

What is the Chery QQ3 range?

The international model is offered with claimed CLTC ranges of 310 km and 420 km, depending on the battery and variant.

What battery does the Chery QQ3 use?

The QQ3 uses LFP batteries. The available battery capacities are approximately 29.5 kWh and 41.3 kWh.

Is the Chery QQ3 officially launched in Pakistan?

No official Pakistani launch has been confirmed yet. The recent sighting at a Pakistani port suggests that the model may be under consideration, evaluation or preparation for the local market.

Will the Chery QQ3 compete with the Suzuki Alto?

Potentially, yes. Although the QQ3 is considerably larger and fully electric, its expected pricing could place it within the consideration set of Pakistani buyers looking for an affordable city car.

Final Thoughts

The Chery QQ3 is an interesting EV at exactly the right time for Pakistan.

The model combines a relatively affordable international price with a 420 km claimed range, Rear Wheel Drive, a large digital cockpit and a surprisingly spacious body. Its 2,700 mm wheelbase and 375-litre luggage compartment also give it more practicality than its compact appearance suggests.

The biggest question is what Chery will charge for it in Pakistan.

If the QQ3 can arrive with a price close to the expected PKR 30 lakh to PKR 40 lakh range, proper after-sales support and a strong battery warranty, it could become a serious contender in Pakistan’s affordable electric car market.

For now, the port sighting is an interesting signal rather than a confirmed launch. But if Chery decides to bring the QQ3 officially to Pakistan, this small EV could make a much bigger impact than its size suggests.
