FAQs

Q1: Can I import an electric vehicle from China to Pakistan?
A: Yes. Pakistani residents can import EVs from China, provided the vehicle complies with Pakistan's import regulations, safety standards, and registration requirements.

Q2: Will I get warranty and after-sales support for a Chinese EV in Pakistan?
A: It depends on the brand and importer. Officially available models typically offer better warranty coverage and after-sales support than privately imported vehicles.

Q3: How long does it take to import an electric vehicle from China?
A: Shipping usually takes 20–40 days, while customs clearance and vehicle registration may require additional time depending on documentation and regulatory approvals.

Q4: Is importing an EV from China cheaper than buying one locally?
A: It can be, but the total cost depends on the vehicle price, shipping charges, import duties, taxes, and registration fees. Comparing the landed cost with locally available EVs is recommended before making a purchase.
